TIPS

Before you go

Garabandal is a small village where people live. These guidelines help make the visit good for everyone.

  • Comfortable shoes

The climb to the Pines is short but steep, with loose stones.

  • Mass at the parish church

Check the Mass times before you go. At the Pines you may pray privately.

  • Respect for the villagers

Ask before photographing people or houses, and keep quiet near homes.

  • Where to stay and eat

See the list of accommodation and book early in August and during the congresses.

  • Mountain weather

Even in summer there can be fog and cold: bring something warm.
